A tiny catheter is used to inject sperm directly into the uterus during an intrauterine insemination (IUI) treatment. By raising the quantity of healthy sperm that enter the fallopian tubes when the woman is most fertile, this treatment seeks to increase the likelihood of conception. You will meet with one of our fertility specialists for your initial appointment, during which time they will go over your medical background and family planning objectives. After that, we'll schedule diagnostic tests to check sure your fallopian tubes are open and your uterus looks normal, including a saline infusion sonogram (SIS) or a hysterosalpingogram (HSG). This information is crucial for us to determine which fertility therapy will work best for you. IUI therapy is carried out throughout the ovulation period.
